In the first edition of our exclusive The Secret Source of Innovation Summit, we will showed how AI is deeply embedded in digital products to increase their performance. Together, we discovered how existing AI tools can be integrated into the innovation process and product development to realize innovative solutions faster and more efficiently. And, we displayed how AI-driven development is also a transformation process that the organization must go through to realize new opportunities in a value-creating and long-term manner.

Gabriel von Mitschke‑Collande

CDO, Giesecke+Devrient

The newly appointed Group Chief Digital Officer (CDO) Gabriel von Mitschke-Collande (39) previously held various management positions at BayWa AG, most recently also as CDO. A graduate in business administration, he is a member of the sixth generation of the entrepreneurial family. With his relevant experience, he will continue to drive forward the digital transformation at G+D and implement it strategically and operationally.

Mathias Oppelt

Head of Consumer Driven Innovation, Siemens

Mathias Oppelt leads a team focused on transforming industries through digitalization and customer-centric innovation. In his work, he uses advanced technologies such as AI and digital twins to improve industrial processes and drive sustainable change. He has extensive experience in simulation, digitalization and automation and previously led the Simulation and Digitalization Center within Siemens Digital Industries. In his current role, he optimizes industrial operations using software-driven control systems and generative AI to optimize processes and increase efficiency.

Dominik Scholler

VP Product Management and Innovation, DFL

As VP Product Management and Innovation at DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, Dominik Scholler is largely responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the Bundesliga media product and all associated innovations. For over a decade, he has been developing innovative product strategies and supporting their implementation together with media partners around the world.

With a clear focus on the future of the media sports experience, he and his team are shaping the way soccer fans experience the Bundesliga – both in Germany and worldwide.

 

Kai-Uwe Reimers

Head of Research & Innovation, REWE Digital GmbH

Kai-Uwe Reimers has been Head of Research & Innovation at REWE Digital since the end of 2018. In this role, he is responsible for R&I, in which technology-driven, disruptive innovations for use in retail are identified and tested and new business models are developed.

When REWE digital was founded in 2014, Kai-Uwe Reimers played a key role in setting up the software development organization as Head of Development. After studying business informatics in Münster, he worked at SAP for around 10 years as a software engineer, project manager and development manager before founding a start-up in the online food retail sector in 2009.

Dr. Volker Glaeser

CEO, DISH Digital Solutions (Metro AG)

Dr. Volker Glaeser is CEO of DISH Digital Solutions (Metro AG), which focuses on providing digital solutions for the hospitality industry.

Dr. Glaeser has a diverse background in leadership positions at large companies such as Vodafone and Yahoo, where he led various digital and e-commerce portfolios. He has also worked as a consultant in digital strategy and transformation. Dr. Glaeser has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at FOM University in Düsseldorf and Macromedia University in Cologne. His expertise extends to areas such as big data, multichannel sales and digital transformation.

Tetiana Telenczak

Head of Product, Data & AI Healthcare R&D, Merck Group

Tetiana Telenczak is an expert in AI product management and currently Head of Product Data and AI at the Merck Group, a global science and technology company. In this role, she leads the development and management of Merck’s global data and AI ecosystem.

Her focus is on the adoption of AI in large organizations. She is responsible for overseeing data platforms, ensuring successful AI implementation and overcoming the complex challenges of implementing AI in production environments.

Sindy Leffler-Krebs

Compliance Managerin, Deutsche Telekom

Sindy Leffler-Krebs is Compliance Manager at Deutsche Telekom. She is actively involved in initiatives related to digital transformation and the integration of AI within the company. Leffler-Krebs emphasizes the importance of building skills and awareness for the use of AI tools and advocates for comprehensive training and practical approaches to ensure that employees are well equipped to deal with AI technologies.

Kiki Wöhl

Co-Founder & CEO, DECAID Academy

Kiki Wöhl is co-founder and CEO of DECAID Academy, the leading German platform for generative AI training in the creative industry. Previously, she was founder and CEO of DataCraft, an EdTech company that enables career leaps into data analytics, where she scaled sales to 2.5 million euros.
With her many years of experience in building companies and implementing AI solutions, she supports the creative and strategic development of innovative business models.

Dr. Tobias Lieberum

Co-Founder & CEO, Cyberdesk

As founder of CyberDesk, a Munich-based cybersecurity start-up, Tobias Lieberum helps some of the most innovative companies protect their most sensitive data. Today, more than 95% of data access rights are not used. To minimize this attack surface, CyberDesk helps to automatically control who can access which sensitive data and how. This enables the transition to a secure AI economy.

Before founding CyberDesk, Tobias Lieberum worked as a consultant for numerous companies on transformation and innovation projects and completed his doctorate in Behavioral Operations Management.

Dr. Giordano Koch | Host

Managing Director, HYVE – the innovation company

With over 14 years of professional experience, Dr. Giordano Koch is an experienced consultant and expert in innovation management. He has been the host of The Secret Source of Innovation podcast for 40 episodes.
Giordano received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg, where he worked on open innovation in the public sector. Outside of academia, he shares his expertise as a lecturer for executive MBA programs and as a guest researcher and has contributed to over 30 publications at various universities.

Dr. Carl Naughton | Moderator

Zukunftsinstitut

Dr. Carl Naughton is a transformational psychologist who has been working with the ZUKUNFTSINSTITUT (Frankfurt/Vienna) for more than 10 years and with colleagues from George Mason University Virginia, the Northern Business School in Hamburg and the University of Basel. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Applied Business Psychology and the Society for Positive Psychology, is a Research Fellow at the Northern Business School and co-founder of the Merck Curiosity Council.

Cark is also a trained actor and has been performing in front of the camera and on stage for more than 25 years.
