Since July last year, HYVE successfully accompanies the “Initiative Intelligente Vernetzung” of the Federal Ministry of Economy Affairs And Energy with their Open Innovation Platform www.oip.netze-neu-nutzen.de. The aim is to forward the development of smart infrastructure of energy, health, education, mobility and public administration in Germany. At the beginning of this year, the Best-Practice Project Contest successfully ended with more than 170 Best Practice solutions of digitalization in the different sections. As a highlight of the competition the award winners were invited to present their projects at the CeBIT in Hannover from the 14th to 18th of March 2016. Following a panel discussion about chances and challenges regarding digitalization and a presentation of the winning projects, the prices were awarded by Dr. Daniela Brönstrup, Head of the subdivision regulatory framework of digital politics, postal politics, international, media of the Federal Ministry of Economy Affairs and Energy and Thilo Zelt, Leading person of the “Initiative Intelligente Vernetzung”.
At the moment we are searching for the smart cities and countries of Germany within the campaign: “Intelligent Regions of Germany”.
