Description and scope of data processing

In addition to contact information that we receive electronically, employees and managing directors of our company receive, for example, business cards or lists of participants at events that contain business contact information.These personal business contact data are transferred by us into a contact database / CRM system.caption

In addition, the time and reason for the transfer of contact information and, if applicable, other information arising from business-related communication are stored. e.g.line

The data will be processed exclusively within the framework of our business relationship. The data will not be passed on to third parties unless you yourself give us your consent.

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of data provided in the course of the collection and storage of business contact data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If the establishment of contact is based on pre-contractual measures or aims at the conclusion of a contract, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO is the additional legal basis for the processing.

If the data subject consents to such processing, Article 6(1)(a) DSBER is the legal basis for such processing.

Purpose of data processing

Management and provision of contacts to persons, companies, employees of companies or public authorities. The processing of business contact data may serve one or more of the following purposes:

  • contact maintenance
  • Exchange/transmission of information material
  • Cooperation / business cooperation
  • Potential future cooperation / business cooperation
  • Offer preparation and contract processing
  • financial reporting
  • project execution

These purposes also include the necessary legitimate interest in the processing of the data.

Duration of storage

After four years at the end of each calendar year, the system checks whether further storage of personal data is required in contact management. Should a necessity not exist, the data will be deleted. The check is carried out depending on the respective purpose.

If you object to the further processing of your contact data, the data will be deleted immediately.

Deletion after four years or objection is omitted if the deletion is contrary to legal reasons (retention periods, provability).

Possibility of objection and elimination

You have the possibility to object to the processing and storage of your personal business contact data at any time.

If you have given your consent to the processing of personal business contact data, you have the possibility to revoke your consent for processing at any time.

In both cases, all personal data stored in the course of contact management will be deleted, unless there are legal reasons to the contrary (retention periods, verifiability). In the latter case, the data is blocked.

In the event of deletion or blocking, an existing conversation cannot be continued or future contact cannot be established.
