 BSH Styline
concept & design of the kitchenware series Styline

 #IndustrialDesign

In cooperation with HYVE Innovation Design, BSH developed the new Styline for Bosch in 2008. The Styline represents a puristic and integrative design. HYVE was assigned to design the kitchen machine MUM5, which is the main product of the Styline.

The result is a pure design with a smoothly flowing form and sharp edges to define the shape of the device. The design was honoured with the reddot design award best of the best 2011 and the iF product design award 2011.

“The products are characterized by high formal independence and modernity. In their design, they correspond to Bosch’s brand core. “says Helmut Kaiser, chief designer of Bosch Consumer Products. “Their particular typology is based on comprehensible basic geometries, which, despite their high functionality, dispense with formal complexity. This strengthens the customer’s trust in the product.”
